Initially called The Underground Gallery, it was intended to be a horror podcast featuring a horror host who reviewed and performed horror-themed audio dramas.

the original story was written, about an old west town that is haunted by more than just ghosts, set in a paranormal town in somewhere in Northern Ca mountains, in a town called Witch Crest Peak; was written to tie in the horror's hosts who is dead, Reinhardt Hendrickson, past with the present. Reinhardt tells classic horrors storys, which weavens into his past living in Witch Crest Peek. Zariya Hollow joined forces with Phantomtheater, who serve as co-writer, producer, artistic director, and occasionally lends their voice acting talents to the project. Zariya Hallow is inspired by Tales from the Crypt, Vincent Price, Are You Afraid of the Dark, Jim Henson's The Storyteller, Orson Welles Mercury Theatre, Monsters Tv show, Westerns, BBC radio, Lake Wobegon. Zariya Hollow has an incredibly talented cast and also utilizes all the talents of guest stars.
